Plan ahead

PlanOn 31st December, six of us sat down and went throught this week's 'Wham!' workshop. It was inspirational. We looked at the Balance Chart and worked out what we wanted from each area and then planned our individual goals so that they were achievable.

There's something very exciting about taking the time to find out what you want from the year ahead. Instead of a New Year's resolution in which you almost set yourself up to fail, it gives you instead an overall view of the next twelve months.

Planning the year ahead is like planning a house. You want to have that big vision of your lifestyle, what it consists of and what you'd like it to be and, at the same time, it's overwhelming to start putting it all into action at once.

With a house you'd get an overall feel and then you'd plan room by room. Similarly with your life, you want to get an overall feel for the future and then focus on one 'room' at a time.

My son is focusing on earning some money for his next trip to Japan.

My daughter is focusing on getting her portfolio together for university.

And I'm focusing on making my home simpler now I've got so much stuff from my mother here as well.

Come along to this week's workshop. Design your house and then decide which room you're going to start on.

Looking forward to seeing you this week. Book now.

Best wishes,
Nina
